I have always had a passion for learning and for sharing my excitement with others. In doing so, I have been able to positively impact the academic achievement of my students while also successfully forging coaching relationships with my peers. Through my Teacher Support Specialist training and Coaching Endorsement, I have learned how to support, inspire and empower teachers at various stages. I have been successful at helping struggling teachers improve and guiding good teachers to experience even more success. I have also been successful planning and implementing professional development opportunities for individual teachers, small groups of teachers as well as the entire staff.

My expertise is in language arts instruction, but my passion is creating learning opportunities that are innovative, rigorous and engaging to help both students and teachers excel to their maximum potential. I am seeking the opportunity to continue serving as a teacher leader through the role of academic coach.
